April 2010

Service Project

Service Project opportunity for T210 (and especially for Philmont folks).  Working on Mountain to Sea trail (Durham section) from 8am to 4pm on April 24th.  We will leave the church at 8am.  Please give a heads up to Berry Credle (bcredle0820@yahoo.com) or Samantha McGahey (mcgahey.sam@earthlink.net) if you can make it so that we have enough equipment for the trail repair efforts.

Thanks!

Berry Credle

Trip to Philmont

Philmont news for those going out west in August

If you have not turned in the $400 payment for April, please do so as soon as possible.

Court of Honor

Spring Court of Honor will be Monday, May 24th

There will be a potluck before the ceremony. So please bring a dish for the potluck. Drinks and paper products will be provided. If a parent would like to help coordinate this potluck, please contact Allison Hoyle.

All blue cards and merit badges must be turned in to Mrs. Hoyle by Monday, May 10th to be included in this Court of Honor.

Camp Raven Knob

Summer camp is fast approaching.  We have 44 scouts going to Raven Knob this year.  GREAT turnout for certain fun.

Some things to remember:

Mr. Lackey and Mr. Chartier are co-leading the CRK effort this year (it takes 2 leaders to take over after Mr. Credle:>)

Let us know if you have any questions.  We are looking forward to another great summer camp.

Greg Chartier (gchartie@cisco.com)
